My business has been in a state of cryostasis (terminology borrowed from the conversations of my sci-fi loving children) for a few years now.  This year is the year I decided to regroup, rebrand, and reset my vision so I actually accomplish some goals, and move my business forward.

After much thought and prayer, I decided that I needed to set up at a couple of local craft shows. With a lot of emphasis being made, these days, on buying local, as well as handmade, I figured this would be a good opportunity to make my presence known.

My first event was held at a local church, with the booth fees being used to fund a missions trip to Thailand that is planned for next February.

I had some unfortunate circumstances prevail, and wound up only having one rug to display at this event, and just a few each of some of my other products, but I decided I wasn’t going to stress over it.  And it turned out to be a profitable day, even though that wasn’t in a monetary way.

Not only did I come away from this event feeling good about the show, itself, the connections I made, and future show possibilities, but the routine I was able to establish before the event has helped me move forward with positive focus, and a great sense of being able to accomplish tasks, and my goals for my business.

I’ll be attending at least one, and maybe two more shows this holiday season, as well as stocking my web shoppe.  If you would like to receive information about when I have new products available, as well as sales and promotions, be sure to sign up for my newsletter.

Thanks so much for stopping in to visit!  I hope you have a beautiful day.
